Celebrating 75 Years of Empowering Youth: Join Challenge 75

The British Youth Council is turning 75 this year, and we want you to be a part of this incredible milestone.

We are introducing Challenge 75, an exciting opportunity for you to make a tangible difference by supporting the work carried out by the British Youth Council for decades. By taking part in this challenge, you will become a catalyst for change, amplifying youth voice and creating a positive impact that resonates in the lives of countless young individuals.

Throughout September, we challenge you to incorporate the numbers 75, 7.5, or 17.5 into your fundraising activity. There are various creative ideas to choose from such as a 75-mile marathon, a 75-minute daily read-a-thons, a 17.5-day sugar-free diet, a 17.5-minute hula hoop or plank challenge, a 7.5-hour car wash. You can make it your own – we’d love to see  any other innovative ideas you may have.

As you raise funds, you’ll reach milestones, and we’ll be offering exclusive prizes for each level of target reached along your fundraising journey. All participants will receive a downloadable certificate upon completing the challenge.

Unsure where to start your fundraising journey? Don’t forget to download our bespoke fundraising pack, which includes useful tips to help you set up and promote your JustGiving or Facebook fundraising page, as well as advice on how to complete the challenge safely.

Your fundraising contribution will enable the British Youth Council to continue its transformative initiatives and pave the way for a brighter future for another 75 years.

Two words: absolutely amazing.

The British Youth Council has given me access to so many opportunities. Not only have I been able to create change in my own community, but also, I have been able to represent young people nationally interacted with MPs, MEPs and other decision makers. Above all, BYC has helped me to get my voice heard!
