While wrapping up 2022 and looking forward to 2023 for a fresh start, you probably have your New Years’ resolution noted down in your journal. It goes without saying that a fitness goal might be at the top of your list, and if that’s the case, we have a great offer for you!
Our Run31 Challenge is back for 2023! 31 miles/km across the 31 days of January. Up for it?
2022 was a rough year for many of us, with the Cost of Living crisis prompting financial instability and all the stress and anxiety that goes along with it. While the rising cost of living puts pressure on our shoulders, we need to take care of our mental health more than ever.
Taking part in our #Run31Challenge offers a potential solution. You’ll be boosting your fitness, improving your mental health and helping others, too. All money raised will go directly towards easing the impact the Cost of Living crisis has had on young people’s mental health and emotional well-being.
After experiencing a mental breakdown during my final years of secondary school, I was admitted to CAMHS. My psychiatrist later inspired me to join my local youth council which kick started my youth voice journey. I now work for the service that treated me and I’m striving towards youth engagement within the service. My biggest goal is increasing access to good quality healthcare across the UK.

You can cover the miles running outside, but if the weather feels too cold for you, a stationary treadmill at home or in the gym works just as well. You can take on the challenge alone or with a team of friends or family. And there’s always the Run31 Challenge Facebook Group community to keep you motivated and connected with others taking part, too. There’s even an exclusive free gift when you raise £50, as well as a downloadable certificate for when you complete your challenge!
