Youth Futures Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organisation set up to help tackle youth unemployment. Launching in 2019, as the only organisation in England focused on improving the employment outcomes of young people who face disadvantage or discrimination when trying to get into good quality work, and to tackle the root causes of why many young people end up unemployed.
Youth Futures Foundation exists to narrow employment gaps by identifying what works and why, investing in evidence generation and innovation, and igniting a movement for change so all young people have fair access to good quality jobs.
Working closely to support the aims of Youth Futures, and with the support of the British Youth Council, the Future Voices Group aims to put young people with lived experiences of barriers to gaining meaningful employment, at the heart of this important work.
“As the well-known phrase tells us – nothing about us, without us. In some ways it is as simple as this. We cannot work to find effective solutions for young people’s futures without young people being part of the process – not if we want to genuinely change thing.” Youth Futures Foundation.
