Head of Advocacy and Communications

We're looking for a senior manager to lead of advocacy and communications function. The post holder will help us in developing a communications strategy and leading our team to enable more young people to have a seat at the table on the decisions that affect them.

The British Youth Council has a fantastic network of volunteers who help with our work, including research, communications, fundraising, data inputting and much more. If you're able to offer time to help with this sort of thing we'd love to hear from you. We also welcome young people on work experience and summer placements, although due to the volume of enquiries we are unable to offer a quality experience to everyone who requests..

Youth Consultant, IMPRESS

IMPRESS (The Independent Monitor for the Press) are establishing a group of Young Consultants aged 14 - 18 to share their views and opinions in a face to face focus group that will be held at the IMPRESS offices in London on Saturday 4th December 2021. This will form part of their comprehensive review of its Standards Code that was created in 2017 as they gather the views of the public and they shape a new draft ready to launch early in 2022.
