Young people influencing policy
BYC consults young people and our members to formulate policy positions on issues affecting young people.
- Consulting young people on what they think about the latest issues through our online Rolling Youth Manifesto
- Providing opportunities for young people and parliamentarians to meet and discuss issues of concern to young people, for example BYC is part of the Secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Youth Affairs
- Supporting young people to get in touch with their elected representatives.
- Representing young people’s views to decision-makers through BYC policy responses.
- Facilitating young people’s involvement in international politics.
If you have any questions about how we empower young people in the UK to have a voice in politics, email BYC.
