Our 'Young people and faith' group is convened to give young
people who are leaders within faith organisations or leaders within
the of youth wings of faith organisation a platform to come
together with other faiths and have their voices heard.
This group meets three times a year and is a chance for young
people of faith to get more actively involved in BYC's work and
influence local, national and international decision-making on
topics affecting young people. There is also be the space for youth
leaders to share their ideas and experiences about how best to
engage young people of faith in non-faith based work.
We have currently started to develop this group and are please
to have representation fromMethodist Children and Youth, URC -
FURY, Muslim Youth Advisory Group, Muslim youth Helpline and the
Church of England Youth Council.
The Convenors of this group are Rosina St James (BYC Vice Chair)
