This session is a one-day course which helps young people better understand how local and national (devolved) democracy works, and why politics is relevant to them.

Who is this course for?

Young people that want to find out more about political structures and how politics effects their life.

Length: half a day

What will this course help me do:

• Provide young people with an understanding of what democracy is.
• Explain the different levels of decision making bodies and processes
• Explore how politics effects young people and how they can take action

Your organisation will need to provide chairs, flip-chart paper, stand and flipchart pens. Any additional equipment needed (OHP, video player, projector) will be requested by BYC on confirmation of booking.
