European Youth Forum

The British Youth Council, as the national youth council of the UK, is a member of the European Youth Forum.

The European Youth Forum is an independent, democratic, youth-led platform, representing national youth councils and international youth organisations from across Europe. It works to empower young people to participate actively in society to improve their own lives, by representing and advocating their needs and interests and those of their organisations.

Influencing European policy - 'Structured Dialogue'

Structured Dialogue' is the process by which young people can directly influence policymaking in Europe. BYC supports young people in the UK to feed in to the process through consultation and research and supports UK Young Ambassadors to represent the UK at the Structured Dialogues meeting
