If you're up for a challenge, aged 18-25, part of a BYC member organisation and can volunteer some time over the next 18 months, the UK Young Ambassadors programme could be for you. Young Ambassadors represent young people from the UK at European events and receive training on research, campaigning, media and communications and influencing UK and European decision-making.

UK Young Ambassadors will:

  • Be involved in research and consultation with young people across the UK to gather their views including consultation workshops, presentations and focus groups
  • Influence European policy-making
  • Raise awareness of European campaigns, policies and actions through reports, blogs, podcasts, websites and social networks
  • Have the chance to represent UK young people at European events
  • Have the chance to meet decision-makers in the UK and in Europe
  • Receive training throughout your term on research, campaigning, media & communications, influencing and European decision-making
  • Be part of a network, including other Young Ambassadors and young people in the UK and across Europe to share information, ideas and actions
  • Get recognition for your work
