National members meeting

National Member meetings are a chance for the large members to come together to explore common issues and challenges. This will be a chance for us to explore with you how you can get the most out of your membership of the British Youth Council (BYC), look at how we can work in partnership with you more closely and share with you the latest developments at BYC.

The National Members meeting in February will focus on policy making for the Annual Council Meeting and BYC's International work.

We will support you to work with other national members around areas of joint issues, how to write motions on these issues and getting support for them.

On the International side the meeting will be a chance to:

• Share and discuss your international work, links and opportunities, and how BYC can support this
• Find out about BYC's international youth representation (particularly in Europe) and how to get involved
• Take part in a European youth policy consultation

Please note that the deadline for registering is Friday 4th February 2012 in order for us to make sure we can meet any dietary requirements and access needs.

We are delighted to offer a travel and accommodation bursary for National members to attend this event. We prefer that you book your travel and accommodation up to £100 per person (please let us know in advance if it is going to be more than this) and invoice us/claim it back after the event, or if you would like us to assist and book your travel for you let us know on the registration form.
