Ray Winstone lends support to the BYC General Election Manifesto
BYC vtalentyear volunteers Rose and Lucy met Ray while he was filming his latest film 'London Boulevard.' He lent his support to votes at 16 and our General Election Manifesto.
Taking a few minutes out of his busy filming schedule Ray, one of the UK's most loved actors, discussed the BYC youth manifesto saying if 16 year olds can sign up to the armed forces and go to war, why can’t they vote?
BYC vtalentyear volunteer Lucy said:
He is a friendly, charismatic and polite man, who kindly gave us his time to talk about the issues in the manifesto and sign the pledge. Hopefully more young people will join him and SIGN THE PLEDGE to show their support!
You can find out about the five actions BYC is urging Parliament to take to improve the lives of young people in the full manifesto: Our Parliament, Our Vision.
Or you can sign the pledge and see other ways to support the BYC manifesto on the Support Us page.
