The British Youth Council has a fantastic network of volunteers who help with our work, including research, communications, fundraising, data inputting and much more. If you're able to offer time to help with this sort of thing we'd love to hear from you. We also welcome young people on work experience and summer placements.

NEW: Digital Development Assistant

If you're looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in web editing and project management this may be the role for you. The British Youth Council are developing a brand new website which will better display our vision for young people in the UK. We're offering the chance for young people aged 18+ to gain expirence developing websites in our communications department. Although the of our website has been outsourced to an external developer we'll be doing much of the work in-house. Basic travel to and from our London office (from within London) and lunch expenses covered. This opportunity would suit someone who has some expirence of editing Wordpress websites we you don't require you to be an expert.

Work Experience/Student Placements

Looking to learn and gain work experience? The British Youth Council is offering opportunities to students/volunteers who are committed supporters of the aims of our charity, age 18+ who want to gain experience in our communucations department. Basic travel and lunch expenses covered. Those completing a placement join a pool of paid temporary workers. This opportunity would suit students and British Youth Council/ UK Youth Parliament Alumni.
