The 1st Two Kingdoms Youth Forum took place in 2007 in the heart of London. A whirlwind launch to the official government-led Two Kingdoms Conference, the event involved 24 young people (18 -25) from Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. The forum's declaration received a standing ovation and the young speakers were invited to chair the official opening dialogue...
It was an incredible experience, the response to our forum from both UK and Saudi governments was immediate and genuine.

Success! The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Saudi Arabian Chamber of Commerce agreed to support a groundbreaking mixed gender youth forum in Riyadh and Jeddah in 2009. Acting on the 2007 declaration, the 2009 forum was granted a budget to deliver the outcomes of the forum through partnership projects. At last a youth forum with legs!
Fastforward to January 2009, location: Riyadh and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 40 young people and staff from 12 organisations gather for the event of a lifetime.
Turning dialogue into action… we’ve designed 5 projects to bring meaningful inter-cultural dialogue and youth participation to our wider communities.
